Team Vitality vs Rogue

This version of Vitality is one of the most jaw-dropping teams in the history of Western LoL -- on paper, at least. They have what it takes to not only wreck house regionally but also do some damage on the international stage as well. But all of that's just theory. In reality, they've been nothing but mediocre for the first five and a half weeks of regular season play.

Let's not beat around the bush: they're awful and are on the brink of imploding fully and irreversibly. This just goes to show that talent alone means nothing if there's no appropriate guidance and a well functioning system for these players to thrive in. And Vitality, as was the case on so many occasions in the past, seemingly has neither. A neutral win-loss record is by no means scandalous, but it sure does become it once you factor in who's competing under Vitality's banner -- some of the very best players the European region has ever fostered. And yet they've been as mediocre and sloppy as even the worst teams in the league.

A strange sight to behold, no doubt, and also a most worrying one as well.

Rogue, on the other hand, have bounced back in style with an incredibly dominant showing over the MAD Lions; now, that's not worth much these days, but they were clean and commanding and not once did we wonder whose hands would be getting raised once everything was said and done. They're back to their winning ways which is bad news for the rest of their adversaries: Rogue are still one of the best teams in the LEC and their sights are set on making history once the playoffs come around.

They're better than Vitality, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll get the "W" with ease -- far from it. Perkz and Co. are still incredibly capable and they should definitely be able to put up a fight from start to finish.
