Team Vitality vs Misfits

This is where the real fun starts -- Vitality vs. Misfits is bound to result in fireworks and that, in all fairness, is not something we thought would be possible coming into 2022. There's a humongous gap between these two teams (in terms of mechanics, experience, and potential) but that doesn't mean all that much at this point in time; everyone's competing on a level playing field. The meta's still in a state of flux and no one has any particular amount of synergy to work with. So, as a result, games are far more competitive than one would expect.

As if all of that wasn't enough, Misfits' unexpected surge definitely warrants praise and commendation. They're all incredibly young but you wouldn't be able to tell based on the confidence and bravado with which they play. They're hungry to win and make a statement, and their 4W-3L record is made all the more impressive once you factor in their average age and relative inexperience.

Vitality, on the other hand, are still somewhat shaky and inconsistent. Their highs have been downright incredible, but they haven't always been able to deliver. There are simply too many variables at play, but they *have*, in all fairness, stepped up quite a bit since week one. They're currently amongst the very best teams in Europe, and will surely perform even better this week now that they've had a bit more time to work on their issues and iron stuff out. We still cannot predict how well they'll do (with them being so inconsistent and all) but we're certain they'll come out the gates swinging and make a statement in some way, shape, or form.

Misfits, however, will not go down without a fight. Not even close. They've showcased immense grit and resilience, and if they play their comfort picks they'll no doubt be able to push Vitality to their limits. They're incredibly feisty and talented and are by no means the flawed, meek rookies we thought they'd be. Whether that'll result in them reaching the playoffs or not still remains to be seen, but they're not to be trifled with and should, by all means, be able to give Vitality a run for their money.
