Team Liquid vs Immortals

Yet another alluring (but ultimately unimportant) match-up. It's just not particularly hype, is all. Still, both teams have a reason to tryhard, so we could be in for a far more entertaining game than the odds would suggest.

Team Liquid have performed incredibly well thus far, although they were by no means flawless. Their sole defeat came at the hands of Evil Geniuses which, in all fairness, is totally acceptable at this point in time. They're still amongst the best and most capable teams in North America, and are bound to leave a mark in some way, shape, or form.

Immortals, on the other hand, looked like the absolute worst team in the LCS, and it wasn't even close. They did nothing right and struggled with even the most fundamental of things. All in all, it was not a good showing, especially for such a veteran-heavy roster.

We don't expect them to accomplish much against Team Liquid, but they could, by all means, make it competitive. Still, it almost certainly won't be enough. How could it, after all? They're simply not playing good League of Legends right now and, talented though they are, it's nigh impossible to envision a world in which they end up beating a giant like TL.
