Team Liquid vs Immortals

At long last, Team Liquid are once again playing with their inteded top laner Barney "Alphari" Morris which, by proxy, means they'll be favored in most of their match-ups going forward. That's what happens when you have the most dominant laner in the West fighting on your side — even though he *is* a bit rusty and might not be quite as dangerous and potent as was the case back in Spring.

Still, having Alphari back means that TL have all the right tools to once again compete for a spot in the Top 3. They're so close to overtaking Cloud9 (who have been struggling a bit too much lately), which means that getting a win over Immortals is at the top of their list of priorities. It won't come easy, of course, but they're well-equipped for the task at hand.

Immortals deserve a metric ton of praise for the pace at which they've grown, but they're still not good enough to compete on even footing with the who's who of the LCS. That doesn't mean they can't pull off an upset from time to time, but once the going gets rough, they're all but guaranteed to lose. Still, this one fact should in no way diminish their valiant effort and the growth showcased by Revenge, Insanity, and even Destiny.

We'll go with Team Liquid on this one as it's the more logical option, but Immortals will almost certainly make this into a hotly conteste affair. They're a fesity bunch and are hungrier than ever to prove their worth.
