Team Liquid vs Golden Guardians

There aren't many "safe" bets in the North American LCS these days, but the Golden Guardians *are* one of the weakest teams around, and betting on them to lose *does* seem like a surefire way to increase one's winnings. They can still surprise from time to time, but their 4W-12L record sort of says it all. That's a meager 25% win rate — in a region that is by no means stacked. They're basically a bottom-dweller at this point and, well, it pains us to say it. The difference between them and TSM FTX — who are currently ranked seventh — is humongous, even though you would never be able to tell based on their fairly similar records.

There's just very little to commend, to single out, to praise. They're not abysmal per se, but they *are* a whole lot worse than the vast majority of their peers and that isn't going to change at any point going forward. They're a fairly solid team, the only issue is: they're limited in terms of potential and ability; it's a bottleneck, one they simply cannot circumvent.

Team Liquid, on the other hand, are sitting pretty with eleven wins and just five losses. They, too, have been fairly inconsistent and, at times, vulnerable, but we know for a fact that they'll huddle up and deliver once it matters most; they always do, after all.

In any case, the boys in white and blue are all but guaranteed to win, so betting on them pretty much feels like the only logical option.
