Team Dignitas vs Team SoloMid

What an excruciatingly difficult match to predict. We have two gatekeepers that are actually a lot more talented and capable than they've led on. They're also inconsistent beyond all comprehension and have a series of issues and deficiencies, some of which are more egregious than others.

They're good, though, and they can, at times, perform exceptionally well. The stars have to align for it to happen which, frankly, is not a good thing — their success hinges around happenstance and a series of factors that are rarely (if ever) in their control. That's why they implode in one game and then put on a masterclass just a day later.

You never really know what you're going to get which makes betting on these two a living nightmare.

Then again, their games *are* pretty darn entertaining, so at least there's some kind of a silver lining. It could've been worse — they're at least better and more consistent than Immortals.

The thing is, we're not quite sure who's better here as they've both had tremendous highs and some of the worst lows imaginable. TSM, for instance, beat Team Liquid to a pulp last week. They then lost to the Golden Guardians and were nearly perfect game'd yesterday by the Evil Geniuses. What can one say, therefore, about their performance, their level of play, their potential (or lack thereof)? Where can one begin, how can one be objective and precise when they themselves haven't even been able to string more than two wins in a row?

It's all a mess, but that, too, was to be expected. Dignitas haven't been any better, which only further complicates things. We're going to give TSM the nod here but it's pretty much a toss-up. We feel that Spica, being the MVP jungler that he is, will be able to not only neutralize River's crazy pathing but also get his team ahead early on; if they don't make any egregious mistakes (and find a way to harness their potent early game), they should be able to get away with the "W" after a long, drawn-out war.
