Team Dignitas vs Immortals

Finally, to close out the week, we have Immortals facing off against Dignitas QNTMPAY. This might not seem all that interesting of a clash on paper, but it's probably going to deliver in terms of sheer entertainment. And, well, what more could you ask for given their ranking and overall potential?

The only issue here is that predicting the outcome with any semblance of confidence is pretty much nigh impossible. These two teams are separated by the slimmest of margins, and even if there *is* a gap between them, it is by no means insurmountable — nothing that a good draft and an error-free early game can't help alleviate. Immortals have been a lot more impressive lately but they are by no means a top-tier competitor, so we're really grasping at straws here.

Dignitas are a bit better than expected given their recent roster changes, but they're still nowhere near as capable or dangerous enough to compete at the highest of levels. Still, they're a dangerous bunch — as evidenced by their upset over Team SoloMid a couple of days ago. In fact, they're on a two-game winstreak, so they're not to be trifled with. Immortals, on the other hand, have sort of slowed down. They're still a feisty bunch, but they've lost a bit of steam, as evidenced by their last three games — all of which were losses. They were still fairly competitive but it didn't matter much in the grand scheme of things.

Simply put: there's no telling who'll come out on top here. Both teams have a shot, but they're so darn inconsistent that it's nigh impossible to side with anyone and not ruminate over the decision. We're going to go with Immortals on this one, but we're not doing so with any supreme amount of confidence. Far from it, in fact.
