Rogue vs Misfits

Rogue did not have a good showing yesterday, and the fact that it happened against the worst team in the league makes the result of that game all the more bitter. Now, we know it was just a one-off thing, but it's not a good look for a team that came into the week with a perfect record. It's not what you want to see from what was rightfully considered as the absolute best and most dominant contender in the entirety of the LEC.

As for Misfits, they've actually improved to 6W-4L and are currently en route to securing a spot in the Spring Split playoffs. If things really do pan out that way, it'd be a spectacular accomplishment for the youngest team in the LEC. They don't *look* like much of threat, but they can, in fact, play some truly impressive League of Legends. Now, granted, a win over BDS isn't exactly worth much these days, but the point stands nonetheless. They were by no means perfect, but they did huddle up and deliver when it mattered most. Their stellar teamfighting and mental resilience eventually came in clutch.

Unfortunately for Misfits, Rogue will not be as sloppy nor will they give them the kind of opening that BDS did. Their loss to Astralis did not affect their stock -- they're still exceptional at the game and will surely prove it tonight as well. With that being said, Misfits have all the right tools to compete on even footing and push Rogue in numerous ways. Heck, if Astralis could do that, then anything can happen.

This is a fairly important match for both teams, even though it carries no particular importance in regards to the bigger picture. Rogue want to bounce back and make a statement, whereas Misfits want to go one step closer towards securing a spot in the playoffs -- and a win over the number one team would no doubt do wonders for their chances. Unfortunately for Misfits, Rogue will not make the same mistakes they did yesterday and will almost surely emerge as the victors.
