Rogue vs Fnatic

What an absolute spectacle we have here, a fight between two teams with perfect records, and undeniably the two most capable contenders in all of Europe. If that doesn't make you want to sit down and tune in then nothing else will!

With that being said, there's simply no way for us to predict what'll happen once these two teams start trading blows. They're separated by the slimmest of margins; *both* have pronounced strengths and weaknesses, and *both* have performed at an incredibly high level thus far. Neither of them is perfect, mind you, but they've nonetheless been stellar and are currently tied in first place for a very good reason.

This is a "hindsight 20/20" kind of game. If we bet on Fnatic and they lose, we'll feel stupid for ever doubting Rogue -- they haven't shown any glaring weaknesses, unlike the former "Kings of Europe." The same can be said in the opposite direction. How can we *not* bet on a team with Humanoid, Upset, and Hylissang, a team with so much talent, potential, and veteran experience? And their mid and late game teamfighting? Out of this world. It's like poetry in motion. They're currently deemed as the biggest frontrunner to claim the LEC throne and we need not explain why. Wunder and Razork haven't been quite as stellar, but they've nonetheless done their jobs and were by no means the reason why Fnatic, at times, looked shaky and vulnerable.

Rogue, too, deserve a ton of praise for their incredible performances. The fact that they're this darn competitive and dangerous despite losing two of their biggest catalysts speaks volumes about their coaching staff and healthy team environment. How in the world they've managed to pull it off is beyond us. Every single member of the team has impressed us beyond measure -- Comp and Malrang perhaps most of all. We knew what Odoamne, Larssen, and Trymbi had to offer, but to see their newest teammates style over their opposition was a sight we did not expect. The old "geezers" deserve some praise, too. Odoamne is no longer playing weakside but is, in stead, doing the hardcarrying -- just like he did in his old H2K days. Larssen has also had a series of incredible performances and has been able to dish out astonishing amounts of damage despite being left on an island for the entirety of the early game. And Trymbi? Not only has he grown into a full-fledged shotcaller, but he's also become an in-game leader for Rogue; and just at the right moment, too, with Hans and Inspired leaving the team in search for greener pastures.

We firmly believe that Fnatic have a bit more to offer, but the gap between them and Rogue is by no means concrete or sizable. This'll be an incredibly close game primarily because both teams have the tools to win. They're well equipped for the task at hand, which means that it'll all boil down to how well they end up drafting and their early game execution.
