Rogue vs exceL

This is where things get ever so slightly more interesting -- Rogue taking on EXCEL isn't going to light the world on fire, but it could, by all means, end up being a fair bit more entertaining than one would expect. EXCEL are the quintessential gatekeepers -- of that we're all aware -- but they can still, at times, pack a punch. And they have the record to prove it, too: three wins and four losses, hardly anything worth writing home about. Still, it's a far better tally than we thought they'd have, so credit where credit is due.

Rogue, on the other hand, are currently atop the LEC and, if they keep playing this darn well, they're surely remain there for the foreseeable future. They've been almost perfect up to this point, and their play has left no one indifferent. We still can't believe just how big of a mark they've left despite losing two of their most prominent players. And they've made it look easy, too, as if it were a walk in the park, a small obstacle on their path rather than the cataclysmical turn of events we all thought it'd be -- a downfall for the ages, if you will.

They're currently sporting a flawless record -- seven wins and no losses, to be more exact -- and they're all but guaranteed to finish the first round robin without dropping even a single game. EXCEL are no slouch, but they're neither talented nor consistent enough to truly give Rogue a run for their money. They *will* make it competitive, though. Their early game is far more potent than one would expect, and it is only in the mid and later stages that they truly start to fall apart. If they can find a way to stabilize and not implode once the going gets rough, they could very well become a capable (albeit still inherently flawed) playoffs contender.

But that's still a ways off from (potentially) happening. Rogue are better across the board and should be able to get the win without much issue.
