ORDER vs Evil Geniuses

Group C feels like a bad case of 'Groundhog's Day.' We have three teams, each of which happens to be separated by very concrete margins and gaps that are large enough to matter. G2 Esports is obviously first with a whopping three wins on the board. They are the most complete, versatile, and capable of the bunch. Flawed, yes, but not flawed *enough* for it to be an issue given whom they have for opposition at this point in time. Then we have the LCS champions, a team that, while certainly talented, simply isn't ready yet to compete on the biggest stages in the world.

At the bottom of the standings we have ORDER, the Oceanic representatives and a team that is just not good enough to compete on even footing with the two aforementioned challengers, both of which happen to be better, vastly more experienced, and, frankly, a lot more talented.

Any time these three teams step foot on stage to compete, therefore, the end result is all but a foregone conclusion. We're not complaining, mind you, but it's not exactly the most exciting of set-ups. The only possibility for an upset is if Evil Geniuses were to somehow surprise the LEC champions, but that, too, feels rather remote and unlikely given the way their first two games panned out.

The gap between these three teams is insurmountable, and there's nothing they can do about. So any time they clash on the Summoner's Rift, we *know* whose hand is going to get raised. For betting, that's the absolute perfect scenario, although it does come at quite a hefty cost entertainment-wise.

Be that as it may, we're going to tune in regardless: we're all craving for a bit of competitive LoL, and this year's MSI has thus far delivered! And, well, it'll only get better and better as we move closer to those highly anticipated Best of 5s!
