Misfits vs G2 Esports

Betting on this particular game is tantamount to a nightmare; Misfits have more momentum and are on a five-game streak, but they're also young and inexperienced, and it *does* feel like it's only a matter of time before they "fall back to earth." They've ascended to the very top of the standings in what feels like a blink of an eye, but what comes up must, eventually, come down, and this team, while undoubtedly exceptional in certain areas, lacks the fortitude and resilience that come as a by-product of veterancy. They've yet to cut their teeth in the LEC, which doesn't, however, mean they don't have anything to "offer" to the former "kings."

Will Misfits keep on trucking? Will they maintain their current level of play? It can only get harder and harder now that their opponents have had a bit more time to figure them out and mount some kind of offensive. Misfits *are* a top-tier team, there's no doubt about it, but their wins haven't been as dominant or clean as those of Rogue and Fnatic. They haven't necessarily "slipped through" but if Vetheo happens to have a bad game -- or a mediocre one, even -- then Misfits don't really have much to work with. Neon and Mersa *have* been doing a ton of heavy lifting, but they're not particularly better or more capable than their G2 counterparts.

It'll all boil down to Vetheo and how well Caps manages to handle this budding young superstar. G2 know what needs to be done to get the win, but it's also hard to bet *agaist* Misfits at this point as they've truly been on a tear. They were also mere seconds away from beating G2 the last time they clashed off and that warrants a mention as well.

There's no good or bad choice this time around -- they're neck and neck. If this were a Best of 5 we'd be more inclined to side with G2, but it isn't, and Misfits have been far more effective thus far, so we might as well take a risk on this one.
