Misfits vs Fnatic

Things have, at least thus far, unraveled "according to plan." That, however, can easily change on a moment's notice; this is yet another "landmine," an incredibly competitive game that's awfully difficult to talk about and predict. Both teams have locked in their playoffs spots so there's not a whole lot on the line and that, in short, is a very good thing as far as we're concerned; it means that both Fnatic *and* Misfits will be able to play without any immense amount of pressure which, after a series of "do or die" kind of games is the "breather" we've all been looking for.

High-stakes clashes are always entertaining to watch, but they can, in all fairness, become a bit too taxing; we need a bit of a reprieve from time to time as well, and this game, in particular, will fulfill that "role" beautifully.

Then again, both teams want to generate as much buzz as they possibly can, and getting a win here would certainly help them out in that regard. There's still a reason to tryhard, especially for Fnatic who are potentially just one win away from taking sole possession of first place. That's not a small feat, in all fairness, and they know it, too; so, with that in mind, they'll probably start throwing heavy blows right from the very beginning. The sooner they can create a lead over Misfits the sooner they can start snowballing -- the "formula" is as clear as it is simple, and if they don't implode or fumble for whatever reason, they should definitely be able to get the job done.

It will not be easy, though, and if Vetheo ends up doing patented Vetheo things -- i.e. pulling off the seemingly impossible -- Fnatic could be in for a much bigger challenge than they expect.
