MAD Lions vs G2 Esports

A veritable barnburner to close out the day and also a match-up that might be a lot more important than any of us realize. The MAD Lions, while still not on the same level as G2, are actually a lot closer in power and potential than it might seem at first glance.

The only question now is: will they be able to narrow that gap in time? Will they get on the same page and start playing like a cohesive five-man unit or, conversely, miss out on their golden opportunity? They're so darn close, too, and we've already been given numerous glimpses of their inherent potential -- the likes of which is truly astounding.

Nisqy really was the "missing piece" and now with him aboard it's like they've unearthed a totally new aspect of their play -- or perhaps they've just "rekindled" that old fire which was present back when Humanoid was a part of the line-up. Either way, they're playing some mighty fine LoL and we can't wait to see whether their improvement will end up making a big enough difference against the defending champions.

We couldn't possibly bet *against* G2 at this point in time, but MAD sure do have the tools to challenge them and potentially even pull off an upset. It *is* unlikely, though, so we'll echo what the oddsmakers think and side with the LEC kings.
