MAD Lions vs Fnatic

This is both the most enticing match of the day but also the one that is most difficult to predict. We simply cannot forecast the outcome with any semblance of confidence and, well, we're definitely not happy for that being the case. Both teams are stacked with exceptional players but they haven't been quite as clean or commanding as one would expect given their pedigrees. That, however, can easily change on a moment's notice. Both Fnatic and MAD have all the right tools to get the win here, which makes this particular match an absolute nightmare for anyone looking to put their hard-earned money on the line.

They're separated by the most miniscule of margins. It's not exactly a toss-up, but it's not far off either. Be that as it may, one would simply have to give Fnatic the edge as they do, in fact, have more tools to work with -- a more varied arsenal of weapons, if you will. The gap between them and MAD certainly isn't big, but it *does* exist. Plus, these nuances often end up making a far bigger difference than one would expect; we're talking about a slew of intangibles that are seldom seen and yet crucial in nature.

The oddsmakers have sided with Fnatic on this one, but it's a far closer match-up than the numbers would imply. We're also wary of what MAD might come out the gates with -- they're an exceptional team with some astoundingly talented players. UNFORGIVEN, too, has been wrecking house like it's nobody's business and if he gets his hands on a champion that scales well into the late game, he'll no doubt give Fnatic a run for their money. The rest of MAD have also been quite stellar, if a bit too inconsistent. Armut is slumping hard and the same can be said for Kaiser as well (although he is by no means as big of an offender as his top laner). By the same token, RKR has been a complete non-factor, but we know for a fact that he's far better and more capable than what he has shown over the last two or so weeks.

If Fnatic play their best League of Legends -- and give the right players enough agency -- they should definitely be able to get the win. But many things will need to go in their favor for it to happen. In any case, it'll be one heck of a fight!
