Immortals vs Team Dignitas

Betting on matches like this one is never easy, especially now given the current state of the meta and the fact that almost none of the ten competing teams have any considerable amount of synergy. Upsets will, therefore, happen fairly frequently. In fact, they're all but *guaranteed* to happen.

Immortals are better than Dignitas in every way, shape, and form. There's really no other way to say it. They have the better players, more experience, and even more pre-built synergy as well. So it'll be an easy win, right? Well, things are never really so simple, especially not in a league as peculiar and idiosyncratic as the LCS. Immortals didn't have the best of showings against Counter Logic Gaming. In fact, we'd even go a step further and say that they looked pretty darn dreadful given the fact that they were well equipped to emerge victorious and yet failed to mount any kind of respectable offensive. CLG played well, there's no denying it, but we're still disappointed that a veteran line-up such as Immortals' failed to get off the ground.

Will they make the same mistakes against Dignitas? Probably not, but there's seemingly no way for us to answer that question with any noticeable amount of confidence. They're better across the board, but unless they can get on the same page and execute, we could very well be in for yet another seismic upset. In any case, the end result -- and the way in which things unravel -- will be quite telling. It'll give us a ton of information into what exactly we can expect from these two teams going forward, and whether or not they have what it takes to leave a mark at the second ever Lock-In tournament.
