Fnatic vs Team Vitality

What an absolute spectacle in the making! This, for all intents and purposes, is a barnburner waiting to happen. We have two extremely aggressive teams stacked with some of the most talented and mechanically gifted players this region has to offer, so it’s fair to assume that they’ll try their hardest to put on a memorable show!

We’re also talking about two teams that need no introduction. Fnatic, of course, is better across the board — they have more depth, experience, and have pretty much been through it all. Vitality, on the other hand, are generally very young in that regard, but whatever they lack in veterancy they more than make up for in sheer bravado and the willingness to trade blows no matter the odds.

So, if both line-ups bring their A-game, a good time is all but guaranteed!

The former “Kings of Europe” have the upper hand, of course, but it might be a lot closer than most folks expect. There are other, external factors, too — Fnatic’s top laner Adam has contracted COVID-19 mere days ago which is why both teams will have to compete in an online-only setting. How this unexpected change will affect them still remains to be seen, but the boys in black and orange have definitely found themselves in a complex situation — one they wanted to avoid at all costs.

So it’s impossible not to wonder: how will this affect Adam and his play? We still don’t have any concrete details — the severity of his illness has been kept under wraps and, well, for good reason. Hopefully it’s a mild case with relatively negligible symptoms — a temporary setback; nothing more, nothing less.

Even with Adam potentially not playing at his 100%, Fnatic should still be able to emerge victorious. They have all the tools they need to get the “W” and advance further into the playoffs. They might not be the most consistent team around, but they’re definitely a force to be reckoned with and will surely prove it tonight as well.

With Adam being a potential “weak link,” the rest of the line-up will to deliver and, fortunately, it is a possible they’re most acquainted with. These are some of the best and most capable players in the history of the region, and they’re perfectly fine with playing under the most extreme pressure.

Moreover, they’re well-equipped for the task at hand: they know darn well how Vitality want to play the game out and should be able to weather the storm and, eventually, emerge victorious. It probably won’t come easy, though, especially not if Vitality come out the gates swinging with a solid enough game plan. In any case, expect a skirmish-heavy affair with a metric ton of action!
