Fnatic vs G2 Esports

What an absolute treat we have here, a Best of 5 that is, by all means, worthy of the history books! A clash of titans, former "kings," and some of the very best and most capable players that Europe has ever fostered! Is that not the most jaw-dropping, mouth-watering premise? And the mere potential of it going the distance is enough to have us get excited beyond all measure!

Both of these line-ups have a shot at getting the win, and both with surely play some truly incredible LoL from the very moment they take the stage. Still, we cannot bet *against* Fnatic in this particular instance, solely because of their experience, flexibility, and the fact that they *do* have the absolute best bottom lane duo in the West. They don't have any glaring weaknesses which means G2 won't be able to punish all that often. Fnatic are their own biggest enemies. They *do* tend to overextend and go for plays they have no business going for, but that's actually not as bad as it sounds -- we're talking about flaws and tendencies that can, by all means, be shored up mid-series. When they play their best LoL — a sight to behold, by the way — there's no team in Europe that can go blow-for blow.

G2 are incredibly dangerous, especially when they play through BrokenBlade, but they're not as layered or capable, and that really isn't that big of a surprise -- they've changed a ton during the course of the off-season and are still trying to figure out their own playstyle. Growing pains, therefore, are only natural to occur. In any case, we'll side with FNC on this one as it's the only choice that makes sense at this point in time. With that being said, by no means will it be a clean or commanding showing — G2 will push them to their very limit. There's no doubt about it.
