Evil Geniuses vs Team Dignitas

Finally, to close out the day, we have Evil Geniuses taking on Dignitas QNTMPAY. This, in all fairness, is far from a premier match-up, but it's still worth tuning in to. We're all big fans of EG and the incredible line-up they've been able to assemble, so we'll definitely keep an eye on this one, eager as ever, to witness the growth and domination of one of LCS' newest title contenders.

The way in which they've attained their three wins has left no one indifferent. They're amongst the most dominant teams in North America right now and, to make matter even more interesting, their best days are yet to come. That notion is simply frightening. They're so incredibly good at the game, and yet they'll still get better and better as time goes on. The sky's the limit for Evil Geniuses, and if they stay the course they'll no doubt be able to challenge 100 Thieves for the LCS throne in a few weeks' time.

Dignitas, of course, have nothing to offer against a giant of EG's caliber. They're worse in every conceivable fashion and there's no other way to say it. They're a gatekeeper through and through, and they'll now face a team that was assembled and devised with a singular goal in mind: winning the LCS and making Worlds. And, based on all that we've seen, they're basically guaranteed to make good on (at least a part of) that potential. Winning the LCS will be no easy task, but they're well equipped to try. Making Worlds is a lot more realistic, but that's still a ways off, so there's no use in talking about it just yet.

The bookies have sided with Evil Geniuses on this one, and it'd be wholly redundant for anyone to explain why. They're better across the board and should have a fairly easy time in handling whatever Dignitas might bring to the table. If things pan out as expected, they'll get the "W" in way less than thirty minutes -- an "easy" win, as they say.
