Evil Geniuses vs Team Dignitas

Dignitas vs. Evil Geniuses is by no means as exciting or historic a match-up as the one preceding it, but it's still a clash worth our time and attention. Heck, we're putting it mildly here! These two teams might not be the LCS cream of the crop, but they're not far off either. Moreover, their performances back in Spring were pretty darn good, albeit far from spectacular.

EG had a lot more potential on paper but were unable to truly harness it in time. Dignitas, on the other hand, had very little hype coming into 2021 because of their underwhelming, import-free line-up and yet they still found a way to leave a mark. Their fifth-place finish is by no means sensational, but given what they had to work with it's impossible *not* to praise them whenever an opportunity arises.

By and large, this is a battle between two of the most capable LCS gatekeepers. They're not spectacular in any which way but they can definitely pack a punch, and should not be underestimated. Moreover, they have all the right tools and players to go deep and potentially trade blows with the who's who of the LCS.

We're at the very start of the 2021 LCS Summer Split which means these two teams will compete on a fairly level playing field. Evil Geniuses are slightly favored, but they're not all that much better than Dignitas (assuming they're better at all). The odds are simply far too alluring on DIG, so we'll side with the underdogs on this one. They have a puncher's chance, so we'll go with a risky bet this time around!
