Evil Geniuses vs CLG

What a truly fascinating way to start off the day — Evil Geniuses vs. Counter Logic Gaming is bound to deliver in all the right ways, so if you've got the time, definitely make sure to tune in! The reason why this match-up is so alluring is quite simple: both teams are relatively inconsistent and love to skirmish. They'll always throw caution out the windows and fight like their lives depend on it, regardless if they're ahead or not. That's just the way they're built.

Evil Geniuses, of course, are much, much better than CLG. There's no other way to put it, really. In fact, they're amongst the very best teams in the LCS right now, even though they're still a bit too volatile for our liking. But whenever they draft to their strengths (i.e. 1-3-1 split-push comps) and execute, they're a force to be reckoned with. Jiizuke, in particular, has finally been showing up. Heck, maybe that's even an understatement! The "Italian Stallion" has been wrecking house ever since the Summer Split began and is currently a Top 3 mid laner in North America — a true testament to his skill and talent given whom he has for opposition. He's not perfect, of course, but he's playing some of his best League of Legends yet, so credit where credit is due. He's aggressive, mechanically gifted, and always willing to engage and make the game-winning play, for better or worse.

The rest of EG are doing mighty fine as well, although it's still too early to board the hype train. We've been burned on too many occassions in the past, so it's best to wait things out a bit and see whether they'll implode at the first sign of trouble, much like they did in the past. Fortunately for EG, their opponents won't be able to punish them much (if at all), so they don't have to be perfect in execution. Not in the slightest! They can make mistakes, go for ill-advised plays, and skirmish to their heart's content as they're better across the board and should, by all means, be able to prove it to night as well.
