Washington Justice vs Houston Outlaws

The Western region of the Overwatch League is still as chaotic as ever. We have two towering giants on top -- San Francisco and Dallas, to be more specific -- and then a bunch of incredibly volatile challengers of varying strengths and abilities. Some of them are, at times, truly dangerous; others, not so much. The biggest problem, however, is that their performances vary and fluctuate greatly on a weekly basis. We never really know what's going to happen and whose hand will eventually get raised. We always have a hunch (along with a ton of empirical evidence to base our predictions on) but things don't always pan out "according to plan."

Washington Justice taking on the Houston Outlaws is one such match-up -- the "risky," volatile kind. The Outlaws are better. There's no denying it. But they, too, are inconsistent beyond measure and are prone to imploding. They have the same overall win-loss tallies and are, in a way, separated by fairly slim marigns. Their highs are, at times, immense. Their lows, on the other hand, tend to be quite abysmal. You never know what you're going to get, in other words. The Outlaws did, however, get a few high profile wins on the board. Beating the Los Angeles Gladiators and the Atlanta Reign in 3-2 fashion is definitely worth something. The Justice haven't been quite as successful, but the differences between them and Houston *do* seem to be quite minute and, therefore, potentially insignificant.

In the end, there doesn't seem to be a "safe" pick. Both teams have about an equal shot at emerging victorious, so don't let the odds fool you: this'll be incredibly close and competitive. We'll side with Houston and, well, hope that they'll once again step up and deliver.
