Team SoloMid vs Flash Wolves

Another match where the odds are somewhat unreasonable.

Even with their loss against Misfits, TSM are primed to take first in their group. They have the biggest coaching staff and the strongest determination, they want to represent their region and finally, finally get out of groups after many years of international disappointment. Even in their loss they looked somewhat good, they looked competitive. They were outscaled and outmacroed, however it was a game of brilliance from Misfits. If they fought again it's questionable whether or not the result would stay the same. The Flash Wolves almost never show that kind of reserved, calculated playmaking. They're more akin to the "see hero kill hero" strategy, and while it works more often than not (especially in their own region) it doesn't cut it on the international stage. TSM play incredibly well in high pressure games, and while this shouldn't be one - they know this is a must win if they want to keep their chances of advancing to the quarterfinals. We don't know what Misfits and Team WE have in store, so those clashes are far from safe bets. Flash Wolves on other hand remain very beatable, and TSM know this.

That said, the aura of the dreaded "NA second week" is strong. Immortals failed to put even a single win on the board a couple of days ago after going 2-1 in their first week. So fans are left to wonder - what will happen tomorrow? For the perennial North American team it's do or die tomorrow, and they're set to do the right thing and perform up to expectations.
