Team SoloMid vs 100 Thieves

Who knew that a game between the defending champions and a team everyone deems a "bottom-feeder" could be *this* darn intriguing? Absolute lunacy! In fact, one could even go a step further and argue that this is actually the most interesting match of the day. The reason why is quite simple and perhaps even a bit obvious: TSM have a lot more hype behind their backs than expected after taking down both Cloud9 *and* Immortals last week. Now, granted, a win over IMT isn't worth much these days, but a win over C9 most certainly is.

They're still a severely flawed team that's fairly limited in terms of long-term potential, but they can obviously put up a fight from time to time and even upset "LCS royalty." So if they could outclass Cloud9 with such incredible ease, could they, perhaps, do the same to 100 Thieves? It sounds crazy and very much impossible, but crazy and seemingly impossible things *have* occurred on North American soil lately, so we wouldn't go so far as to label this — admittedly quite unlikely scenario — as outlandish or absurd. Improbable, yes, but still within the realm of possibility.

That's why we're all going to tune in, eager as ever, to see if TSM have what it takes to pull off yet another mind-blowing upset. We don't *think* they will, but they've proven us wrong a few times in the recent past so we're sort of worried of what might occur once everyone steps foot on stage to compete — in a Best of 1, no less, the most volatile format imaginable. There are never any guarantees, but we'll still give the nod to the defending champs on this one. How could we not? They're on a very respectable win streak and should definitely be able to weather the proverbial storm.
