Team Dignitas vs Cloud9

What a weird match-up, one whose outcome is absolutely impossible to predict. We've found ourselves in uncharted land. Not only are Dignitas far better than we expected, but they're going up against the biggest question mark in the LCS: Cloud9. After losing their head coach, they've looked (and played) like shadows of their former selves. Heck, they even dropped a game to Counter Logic Gaming -- that alone speaks volumes!

They're still an incredibly talented team, but they're undergoing massive turmoil and there's no way for anyone to predict how they'll navigate these trying times and whether they'll be able to thrive amidst such challenging circumstances. There's definitely a reason for worry, and their next three games, in particular, will be absolutely crucial. Will they bounce back from such an unexpected (and thoroughly draining) series of events? Or, conversely, implode now that they've been forced to rethink and reconfigure everything which they've been working on since the 2022 season began.

It's an unenviable position, one of immense difficulty.

Dignitas haven't been particularly impressive either, so at least Cloud9 have had a bit of luck in that regard -- they're not going up against a top-tier behemoth or a giant of unparalleled strength. If they can find a way to neutralize River (easier said than done), and get their most important players (i.e. Blaber and Berserker) on scaling picks with a ton of agency, they should definitely be able to make things competitive and, potentially, eke out a win.

With all of that being said, we're still leaning more towards Dignitas. It sounds crazy, we know, but Cloud9 have been so incredibly bad last week that it'd be downright insane for us to bet on them. They *will* bounce back eventually, but we're probably a long way from it happening.
