Team Dignitas vs 100 Thieves

This is it: the very last day of the 2022 LCS Spring Split. Just five games are, therefore, separating us from the oh-so-exciting postseason, and only six out of the ten teams currently competing will get to extend their journey and compete for a shot at etching their names in the history books.

And, by the looks of it, Dignitas almost certainly *isn't* going to be one of them. It's pretty obvious, in fact. They still have a shot mathematically speaking, but the odds of them making it are so incredibly slim they're really not even worth considering.

In fact, they're currently ranked seventh and, by the looks of it, that's where they'll remain. They've also dropped a whopping four games in a row and, well, they're about to drop their fifth as well, unless they somehow manage to pull off the seemingly impossible. It wouldn't be the first time, in all fairness, but their few virtues and strengths are no longer as surprising or potent as they were back at the very start of the season. They're no longer as capable or dangerous, and their most important catalysts are far more predictable as well. They're a gatekeeper, and a very flawed one at that. A solid team overall with a very limited skill ceiling. Nothing more, nothing less.

100 Thieves, on the other hand, are looking like one of the very best teams in NA. They've dismantled Cloud9 as if it were the easiest thing in the world. They blew them out of the water as if they were a bunch of amateurs — we're talking about a vintage 100T performance here, one that took us all by surprise. It's obvious that they've hit their stride and should, therefore, be able to lay a beating on the boys in black and yellow.
