SK Telecom T1 vs G2 Esports

Coming into the tournament, everyone thought that G2 Esports would be able to throw down with the likes of Invictus Gaming and a revitalized SKT T1, but no one could have foreseen such a one-sided affair yesterday between the current "kings of Europe" and the greatest organization in League's history.

G2 Esports simply outclassed and outrotated SKT T1 on all fronts. It wasn't even an exciting clash -- they were that good and dominant. The Korean champions looked lost and without a concrete idea on what they could throughout the game, and it showed in their play as well. In the end, one could argue that LEC's Rogue put up a much bigger fight against the defending European champions, than SKT.

Even if we do say that this was a one-off kind of shellacking, it was still evident that G2 simply had too many weapons to work with, and were willing to fight tooth and nail in order to get an advantage. Going forward, they know they're not only better than SKT, but that they can outplay them at will. Lane for lane, they were able to match their counterparts and even overwhelm them, and they looked downright frightening both on an individual level as well as a five-man unit.

The sky's the limit for this G2 roster, and there's no reason as to why they wouldn't be able to outclass the Korean champions tomorrow as well. It might be a lot closer than most people expect, but in the end, G2 should be able to emerge victorious.
