Samsung Galaxy vs Royal Never Give Up

The biggest and most exciting upcoming match in group C. Two highly respected and feared teams will duke it out on the Rift once more.

If there is one thing that became apparent after their first clash it is the fact that Royal Never Give Up is simply playing on another level. While RNG did win from a strong snowball in just 28 minutes, they did so with such astonishing ease and dominance that Samsung Galaxy failed in getting even a single kill during the entirety of the game.

Samsung are entering this match with a lot of pressure - while they have a comfy 2-1 record at the moment things are far from set in group C. A single win or loss could change things around completely.

It's baffling to see Samsung favored over Royal Never Give Up, regardless of how well Korean teams adapt during breaks. LPL's second seed is looking like one of the most dominant teams at this year's World Championship, and they're entering every game with an incredible amount of confidence. To make matters even more interesting, they're playing meta as well and they showed great reserve in the way they played. Furthermore, Royal Never Give Up is the only LPL team that looks completely fueled by their home crowd. They're reveling in the chants, the waves of adoration and energy and it shows every time they step foot on the stage.

Seeing Uzi and Xiahu wreck house was a frightening sight. They're hungry, they're aggressive and more mature and experienced than last year. They're on a roll and barring any jarring errors or miscalculations they should win this very close match.

While we're not expecting the same kill-less Samsung Galaxy from a couple of days back, it should go in RNG's favor.
