Rogue vs Team Vitality

For our third match of the day we have a pretty easy, one-sided clash between Team Vitality and Rogue.

Team Vitality are entering this match with their eyes set on a possible four-game win streak. If they manage to take down Rogue which, in all fairness, shouldn't be too hard, they will tie Schalke 04 for second-place and stay close to G2 Esports. That's a big deal, especially this early on in the split.

They are entering today's game after taking down Origen in pretty clean fashion yesterday. It wasn't particularly dominant, to be fair, but they did what they had to in order to get the win. They were unable to get Jiizuke ahead on LeBlanc, which meant they wouldn't have such a strong late game, but every other member stepped up and carried a fair share of the weight. Cabochard, in particular, had a sensational performance on Urgot from minute one. Not only was he able to solo kill an underperforming Alphari, but he was instrumental in Vitality's mid and late game team fighting.

Speaking of the mid and late game, when five-on-five skirmishes broke out, Vitality were always one step ahead. They weren't particularly dominant, but small nuances made all the difference. Paired with phenomenal engages and ultimates from Mowgli's Lee Sin, they were able to lock out and take down individual members from Origen with relative ease.

As for Rogue, well, there's not much to tell right about now. They failed to register a win throughout the first three weeks of competitive LEC play, and one has to wonder -- even if they were to get a win, against whom would that be? Excel Esports are playing like a very solid dark horse that went blow-for-blow with G2 Esports and actually took down Misfits, SK Gaming have a ton of avenues for victory and they have better individual players (or at the very least players with more cohesion), and Origen have tons of experience and leadership so they can at least make things somewhat competitive.

There really isn't much that Origen can do, especially not against a top-tier team like Vitality. These two teams are on opposite sides of the standings, and with good reason. We're going with Vitality on this one, and with full confidence. While they might not be able to flat out demolish Rogue, they should have no problem in taking them down.
