Rogue vs SK Gaming

For our second match of the day we have a fairly fascinating clash between Rogue and SK Gaming. Now, in essence, this is nothing more than a one-sided match-up between a top-tier challenger a struggling bottom-tier dweller, but there's still a reason to tune in. The only thing that matters is that solid, top-tier League of Legends will not be absent, and that should certainly be the case (at least on the side of Rogue).

No one's still quite sure what to think of Rogue. We all know they're a solid, Top 5 team, but just how strong and capable they truly are remains a mystery. It is mystery in no small part because of their experimentation and inherent inconsistency. They are, however, capable of playing some insane League of Legends (Larssen, in particular), but they're still struggling to find an identity to call their own. There's a lot to like, that's for sure, and when they draft to their strengths and play as well as they can there's only but a few LEC teams out there who can stand toe to toe.

So in other words, a promising, top-tier challenger that just needs a bit more time before synergizing and getting on the same page.

As for SK Gaming, they've shown some signs of life yesterday. Nothing too extraordinary, but small, incremental improvements is more than enough at this point in time. Frankly, after being abysmal over the first couple of weeks, *any* kind of ugprade is a welcome one. Their early games are much more competitive, their individual play is also noticeably better, and the only thing that's still missing is any kind of cohesion. That could improve over time as well, although don't hold your breath. They're taking their time and are improving steadily, although none of it should be enough against a team like Rogue.
