KINGZONE DragonX vs DAMWON Gaming

It is pretty safe to say that Damwon Gaming has looked terrible so far this split, dropping a map to under-performing KT and the worst team in league in Jin Air isn't something a team who has worlds ambitions should do. On the other hand KINGZONE has an impressive 3-1 record, although Pawn isn't playing.

KZ is a team who really likes playing around bot lane, and they players you really should look forward in this matchup are their jungler Cuzz, who has had a phenomenal split thus far, and their bot lane in Deft and Tusin who are looking like the best bot lane in the league at the moment. Jungle and bot lane are the roles that look like Damwon's biggest weakness, and especially their bot lane has looked bad. We saw that even GEN G managed to beat them with their strong bot lane, although the team is otherwise really bad.

On Damwon's side their hope lies at their top laner Nuguri, who is one of the best carry top laners in the world and has the potential to gain advantage against Kingzone's weak spot in Rascal. Canyon can also be someone you should look forward to, but his inconsistent play doesn't raise hopes enough, that I could see them taking a map.

Overall, I can see how Damwon gaming can take a map against Kingzone, but I don't personally find it that likely. On top of that Kingzone and Damwon have faced five times this year, but Kingzone has taken the map every time, giving them a clean 5-0 record against Damwon gaming. The coefficient for Kingzone's 2-0 implies that they have around 45% change to take the matchup cleanly, but the statistics and general performance during the summer split suggests a far higher likelyhood for the 2-0 win for the Kingzone.
