Immortals vs Team SoloMid

What a peculiar match-up, one that, in all fairness, isn't going to draw in record viewership. Immortals have just a single win on the board whereas TSM still haven't gotten their hands raised. This isn't necessarily a clash of bottom-dweller but it's not particularly far off, either -- both teams are severely underperforming and it feels nigh impossible for us to predict when (and if) they'll correct course and actually put on a show.

Immortals obviously have a ton more momentum after taking down 100 Thieves, but the fashion in which they were outclassed by Cloud9 just a day later *did*, in all fairness, diminish their hype. We're not saying that their win over 100 Thieves was a fluke -- it almost certainly wasn't -- but they're still not good enough to compete with the great majority of their peers, to say nothing of those whom we deem as frontrunners.

Be that as it may, at least they've shown some signs of life and given the amount of experience and talent that they have they're bound to grow even further and get a few more wins on the board over the coming weeks. We don't expect much from them given the current state of affairs, but we're pretty confident that they'll eventually be able to mount an offensive and potentially even challenge for a spot in the Top 6. It sounds ludicrous and downright impossible *right now* but all it takes is a few wins and immediately they'll be a part of the conversation. Just look at what SK Gaming have done over in the LEC -- they've improved in the most nuanced ways and have just won three games straight, therefore tying MAD Lions for seventh place.

TSM, however, are facing the grimmest of odds. Their season has started off in the absolute worst possible way and it has to get even worse before it can ever get any better. We don't like the thought of betting on Immortals, but that's the only even *remotely* logical option here.
