Houston Outlaws vs Atlanta Reign

This is where things get a whole lot more interesting and, well, somewhat precarious. The Atlanta Reign are the better team, there's no doubt about it, but the Outlaws *do* have the tendency to overperform at the most random of moments — and that, in short, has us a bit wary.

They're not a top-tier team by any stretch of the imagination but they *do* have stellar moments, and for that we need to give them their due. Their regular season record is also mighty impressive: six wins and just three losses, with a very respectable +6 map differential. That's nothing to scoff at. They might not be challenging for the Overwatch League throne any time soon but they're definitely capable of putting up a fight and, in doing so, entertaining the masses.

The Reign, however, are cut from a different cloth. They're amongst the most capable teams the Overwatch League has to offer and have proven it many a time throughout the last few weeks. Their growth has been tremendous and their effectiveness and ability to perform at the highest of levels (in spite of the odds) can no longer be denied.

They *do* seem to be a bit more dangerous in LAN scenarios but that's a topic for another time and place. They're a top-tier team and a challenger worthy of respect and admiration, and if they bring their "A game" and not make any egregious mistakes along the way, they'll no doubt be able to best Houston and get yet another win on the board.
