Golden Guardians vs Team Dignitas

An absolute and utter nightmare — that is perhaps the only way for us to describe this particular match-up. First of all, neither of these two teams will be leaving much of a mark once all is said and done. Of that we're probably all aware. Still, they've been putting up a fight, and they should not be underestimated whatsoever. They're obviously flawed beyond measure and have numerous severe weaknesses which their more capable peers can exploit, but they've also done a whole lot better than one would ever expect.

And, well, they're feisty and have no issue in throwing down and brawling if it'll net them the win. Heck, that's precisely how they've been winning more often than not, and while it's not necessarily a stylish or particularly layered method, it *has* garnered them a fair bit of attention and a respectable fan following.

Now, let's cut straight to the case: we cannot, for the life of us, confidently predict who'll get away with the win here. That's the most honest answer, and anyone who says otherwise is pretty much lying. Dignitas have been a bit more consistent and, therefore, better, but GGS are undeniably one of the most volatile and streaky teams the LCS to offer. On a good day they'll take down an actual championship-worthy contender. On a bad one they'll lose to TSM FTX. And, well, you can never really know which "shade" of GGS will come out and play -- there are simply too many factors, too many variables and intangibles and a good number of them are heavily influenced by external factors.

In other words: they have no control of this either.

They've also just beaten FlyQuest yesterday and are close to attaining a .500 record. Now, if they take down Dignitas as well they'll not only make a statement but also keep themselves in the race for playoffs. It's a do-or-die kind of moment and they're obviously willing to risk it all on a "coin toss." And, well, why wouldn't they -- they stand nothing to lose. Will they succeed? Well, we're not quite sure, but they *do* have more momentum compared to Dignitas, and if they draft well and give the right players enough agency, a win here could very well be attained.
