Golden Guardians vs FlyQuest

Predicting the outcome of this one game feels nigh impossible. We're talking about two gatekeepers here, neither of which will be leaving much of a mark once all is said and done. To make matters even worse, we have a very limited sample size at our disposal, and only a modicum of it is of any use.

This GGS line-up has only played a single game thus far, but they were actually a lot more impressive than we had expected. It *was* a loss, but they sure did put up a fight. The fact that they kept it competitive against Cloud9's mind-blowing enchanter-based team comp only makes it all the more impressive. Pridestalkr, in particular, was absolutely incredible, and it was his Qiyana, in particular, that gave GGS a fighting chance. It wasn't enough, unfortunately, but he sure did impress in his debut.

FlyQuest's first game, on the other hand, was quite puzzling. It *was* a win, but they got it done by way of Janna top, a pick that, while undeniably OP, is almost surely going to get banned out. They haven't been all that impressive throughout the LCS Lock-In, and their first game doesn't really scream "potential" either. They got the job done, so credit where credit is due, but by no means did they look good doing it.

This one's pretty much a toss-up. FlyQuest have more synergy but that doesn't mean they're the better team. Their individual performances leave a lot to be desired, and they'll still need a few more weeks before they can truly get on the same page and start playing as a five-man unit. GGS, one could argue, has a higher skill ceiling, and three of their players are also better individually. So all they have to do is draft well, get their top side trio their comfort picks, and they should definitely be able to get the win. With that being said, it could really go either way. We're siding with the underdogs on this one as the odds are simply too good to pass up.
