Fnatic vs Misfits

For our last game of the day, we have an incredibly exciting clash between none other than the reigning champions Fnatic, and Misfits Gaming. Even though both teams are entering this match without much hype, this is still as good as it gets. We know that both rosters have the ability to play at the highest possible level -- whether or not we will see that level of play tonight is a completely different matter.

Predicting who will come out on top is downright impossible. We've seen far too much volatility from both squads, and we have little to no information how they're doing right this instant -- both in scrims as well as against top tier opposition. Fnatic are entering this clash after registering their very first LEC win yesterday. That alone should give them a slight edge from a mental standpoint. They were finally able to break through and start playing to the best of their ability. The hard part right now is maintaining that level of play, but if there was ever a team that has the tools to overcome such adversity, it has to be Fnatic.

We're going with Fnatic on this one. The odds are against them, and yet they're entering with more momentum, which could end up being quite a big win. They're hungry to get back to the top, they want redemption, and Misfits seem to have reached a certain low point. They're still an incredibly potent team, and they can surely put up a big fight -- if not even outclass Fnatic if they get started the way they want to -- but after witnessing them fumble and fail against both Vitality and Excel, it's impossible to give them the benefit of the doubt.

This is, by no means, a safe bet. The outcome of this match is completely up in the air, and it really depends on which versions of these two rosters come out. Will we see the Fnatic of yesterday, the aggressive, in sync Fnatic? The team that was able to reach the finals of the World Championship? Or will we see the passive, scared, reactive Fnatic that failed to register a win during the first two weeks of competitive LEC play.

Will we see the aggressive, "in your face" Misfits that's setting early gold lead records? Or the out of sync one that has just lost two games in a row against Team Vitality and Excel Esports?

With so many questions rising up, it might be best to skip betting on this match entirely, but if you're in for a risk, then betting on Fnatic could yield a big reward.
