Fnatic vs Invictus Gaming

The finals is upon us, and it is due for a rematch from groups. Fnatic and Invictus Gaming dominated group D, where IG drew first blood in their initial encounter, but Fnatic came back strong in the final day and beat IG in the final match, as well as the tiebreaker to clinch first place.

Now they meet again in a BO5 to see who really is the best team in League of Legends of 2018.

In advancing to the finals, IG has looked solid, but not too amazing. They trounced a G2 that has shown they can hang with the best after beating RNG, and also taking out the home favorites KT in the quarterfinals 3-2.

However, now they are up against Fnatic, a team that has looked like they don't really have much of any weaknesses, and although Rookie has shown flashes of amazing play, he is going up against Caps who is having the tournament of his life. On paper mid and bottom lane should be favored for Fnatic, Broxah is doing great in the jungle as well, and given that Fnatic has the option to swap in top lane between Bwipo and sOAZ depending on how things look should give them a chance to regroup if they struggle early.

Fnatic also looks to be stronger in late game, and that combined with their ability to absorb pressure early should give them the chance to draft comfortably going into their games.

I do think this is gonna come down to the wire with either of the teams, with Fnatic looking a bit stronger overall, so given that most bookmakers have Fnatic as the underdogs gives me the confidence to back them here with a decent bet size.

Even Froskurinn, a fan of IG and the Chinese region in LOL, announced that she thinks Fnatic are slight favorites here, which should give me even more confidence in this bet.
