FlyQuest vs Top Esports

What a darn good way to start things off. Top Esports vs. FlyQuest might be a mismatch on paper (and, well, every other way), but the level of competitive League we're about to see will probably be far greater than anyone's expecting. FlyQuest, in many ways, plays to the level of their opponents, but they're also a highly resilient bunch. They're creative, aggressive, and always willing to throw down regardless of whom they're up against. That's their M.O. basically, and that's why they've garnered so much attention in such a short time span.

Top Esports, of course, needs no introduction. The fashion in which they've outclassed everyone throughout the second half of 2020 is more than enough proof of their staggering talent and ability to dominate in today's meta. They're the heavy favorites to win the whole thing although, in true LPL fashion, they'll probably struggle a bit during the Group Stage, it being played in the Best of 1 format and all. This will be their first game, and FlyQuest know they're the underdogs. Therefore, they're probably preparing something spicy. They know time is of the essence, and that if they don't impose their own will and playstyle right from the very get-go that they're bound to get annihilated in a blink of an eye by a team that's superior in every conceivable way.

The last time PowerOfEvil and IgNar stepped foot on the World Championship stage, they were able to create absolute chaos, and one could argue that they've aged like fine wine. Three years have passed since the moment they nearly took down SKT T1 in that Best of 5 for the ages, but now they're accompanied by far more resilient teammates. Therefore, the odds of finding success -- should they play to the best of their ability -- increases considerably. Unfortunately, Top Esports is in a league of their own. Heck, even such a theatrical statement doesn't do them justice. If you're after the best and most commanding League of Legends, Top Esports is the way to go. They've earned this immense amount of hype and momentum fair and square and while they might start slow, they definitely have all the right tools to exploit FlyQuest's weaknesses (primarily in the top lane) and get the win.

Regardless, if both teams put their best foot forward, this is bound to be an explosive, highly entertaining start to the 2020 World Championship Group Stage. Make sure not to miss it.
