FlyQuest vs Clutch Gamers

There is little logic behind the odds for this match. Clutch Gaming did start the Spring Split off on a strong note, but ever since week one they've been struggling to find their footing. Perhaps that would even be an understatement. They're 2W-5L right now, and even though they're a dangerous opponent overall, they really don't have what it takes to compete with the likes of FlyQuest.

FlyQuest are deceptively strong right now, and even though their early game could use some work, they're exceptional when the mid and late stages of the game come around. Their team fighting is absolutely spectacular, they're in sync, their fighting as a five-man unit and their target selection is pristine. They're really one of the best team fighting teams in the entire region, and even when they're fighting from behind, even when they're at a deficit they're not playing like it. They have mental fortitude for days, and they have the cohesion to pull off any team comp and turn things around.

Obviously they can't compete with the likes of Team Liquid or perhaps Cloud9 who can do all of that as well (but a fair bit better), but anyone below them in the standings is fair game. When all is said and done, this team will surely be within the Top 5, if not even higher. The 9.3 meta should also favor WildTurtle and his wide champion pool, and if they play as well as they can there's no way they can lose this one.

We're going with FlyQuest on this one and with full confidence. They're a Top 3 team right now, and they have the potential to compete with the very best teams in the region. Even though they might not look the part, they're a playoff contender and they have the talent (and cohesion) to go blow-for-blow with the upper echelon of the LCS. While it might not be a dominant showing, FlyQuest should, by all means, be able to get the win.
