CLG vs Cloud9

We're quite confused here and, well, it's easy to understand why. No one on the face of the earth thought that Cloud9 could lose to TSM, and yet that's precisely what happened yesterday. And it's not just that they lost but also the *way* in which it all went down — TSM blew them out of the water.

It wasn't even remotely competitive; it was as if their roles had reversed.

We're still shocked by the whole thing and, frankly, we're not quite sure *why* it all happened and whether or not it even means anything. Maybe C9 just opted to fool around and have a bit of fun, what with their playoff spot secured? Maybe they just made a serious of egregious mistakes and TSM, after weeks upon weeks of painful mediocrity, managed to capitalize and punish. Maybe it's something else entirely.

In any case, betting on them after such a debacle makes us feel quite hesitant and wary. They're still one of the best teams in the LCS (if not *the* best), but moments like these kind of make us all wonder. And, well, they're a nightmare when it comes to betting, too.

We know they're better than CLG. Everyone knows it — their opponents included. But if they could lose to TSM in such mind-boggling fashion, then who's to say that they couldn't lose to CLG as well? The odds of it happening are next to non-existent but everyone said the same for their clash with TSM. And, well, we all saw how that panned out.

The CLG boys are extremely motivated and, well, quite capable, too. They're not good enough to win against the very best teams in North America but they can, at times, upend everyone's expectations and pull off an upset.

They could also make playoffs if they play their cards right, which means they'll surely tryhard like madmen against Cloud9. An upset here would tie them with the Golden Guardians and it would put them in quite a favorable position to reach Top 6. There's a lot on the line, in other hands, and everyone's surely aware of it as well.

How will this affect their performance? Will they come out and dominate or, perhaps, make a series of blunders now that there's so much pressure on their shoulders? Both scenarios are wholly possible; in the end, we seriously doubt they'll be able to compete with a team as capable as C9. They'll make it competitive, for sure, but win they almost certainly will not.
