100 Thieves vs Team Liquid

We have a repeat of the 2018 LCS Spring Split finals. Back then, this match-up looked like a clash between two seemingly equal teams. It wasn't. In fact, one can argue that it was the last time 100 Thieves looked even remotely competitive. their subsequent Summer Split run was underwhelming overall (albeit enough for them to go to Worlds), and we all know how 2019 panned out.

This time, however, they're looking much better. They're fielding a fairly competitive mid-tier roster that's quite capable. They're sitting at a perfectly acceptable 2W-2L record, and they've looked fairly good in all of their four outings, if not a bit out of sync. That said, they didn't exactly have a challenging schedule. Their wins came against the Golden Guardians and Counter Logic Gmaing -- two teams that could, by all means, be considered as two of the worst and least capable teams in the region. So, with that in mind, they're not exactly entering this clash with a metric ton of hype and momentum. To make matters even worse, they're up against a game Team Liquid, the reigning, defending champions.

Now sure, Liquid are still playing without Broxah, but they're more than capable of getting the win here tonigh. They've looked better and better with each game they played with Shernfire, and while they're nowhere near as dangerous as they would've been with the former LEC champion, they're still a force to be reckoned with, especially because of their stellar macro and incredible team fighting prowess.

Getting a win here tonight is paramount for Liquid and fortunately, they shouldn't struggle much against a team of 100 Thieves' caliber.
