V4 Future Sports Festival

Budapest will host V4 Future Sports Festival, Hungary's very first, world class, international esports event between 23-25 March 2018. Esport players from Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia may enter alone or with a team.

The tournament is hosted by Egymillióan, a magyar esportért Egyesület, with support from the Hungarian Digital Welfare Program.

V4 Future Sports Festival, the biggest CS:GO tournament hosted in Easter Europe starts on Friday this week.

The tournament is made of 2 groups with4 teams in each group.

The elimination system in group stage is round robin, each team would play 3 best of 2 matches with other teams in the group. Best 2 teams from each group advance to playoffs. The first team from group A would play against the second team from group B in semi-finals, and otherwise in a best of 3 series. Winners advance to the grand final and they would play a best of 5 match.

This is the simplest way to explain robin system.

With that being said, I can start with tournament prediction.

From the betting perspective, there is not too much to analyze. I don't expect any surprises. Thins are clear here. Faze would most likely finish first in the group A and they would play in semi-finals against Virtus Pro, the second team from Group B. On the other side I expect mousesports to be the first placed team in Group B and they would most likely play against HellRaisers. If things end up this way, this would be an interesting semi-final with four Tier 1 teams in Tier 2 tournament.

In the Grand-finals, we can expect nothing less than Faze vs mousesports in a best of 5 series. This would definitely be an interesting match to watch, with the current situation of the head to head matches, Faze 11 - 9 mousesports and 5 maps end up in overtimes I expect this to be a close match. It is hard to predict when it comes to these 2 teams, but I would be on the tournament in Budapest and when I see the current team forms I would write my tip with detail analyze. 

Tournament Format

Group stage: round robin, best-of-two matches.

Playoffs: single elimination bracket, best-of-three matches (finals are best-of-five).
