ESL Brazil Premier League Season 5,

Heading South for the chance to take a quick match from the ESL Brazil Premier League, we will be looking at a best of one match-up between teams Yeah! and Bulldozer. In the league currently, both teams have played ten games and though the win rates of the teams are different with Bulldozer being slightly ahead, in head to head match-ups so far between these two teams. Yeah! has come out on top three times out of four. We're going to dive deeper into the map pools and star players of each team to see if Yeah! can truly pull off this best of one win against the likes of Bulldozer.

Yeah! :

Yeah has been on the heels of some of the most stand out teams in all of Brazil. Having close series with both NTC and Furia, the two teams who have qualified for ESL One Belo Horizonte earlier this month. Yeah has not quite crossed in the elite status that surrounds both NTC and Furia, but being able to hold their own and taking one map in best of three matches versus both of those lineups is nothing to scoff at. Currently the stand out player for Yeah is that of 'Xand' who in recent form has held an HLTV rating of 1.18! Coming in a close second for most outstanding fragger is that of teammate ZQKS who holds a 1.14 rating overall.

Yeah's map pool looks like this; Train is 14-9, Inferno is 13-8, Mirage is 10-8, Cache is 8-8, Nuke is 4-3, Overpass is 2-2 and Dust 2 is 1-0

BullDozer :

Though Bulldozer has an overall better record in the ESL Brazilian Premier League, whilst competing in the same events that Yeah has for the FACEIT Minor Bulldozer lost out to Furia in the first round 0-2. Without taking a single map against Furia, this can be troublesome as Yeah has taken multiple maps of the soon to be legendary Brazilian squad. Right now Bulldozer are doing there best to qualify for certain events but the larger teams are knocking them out, and when competing against te lower tier teams, they still strugle to win in a dominant fashion, usually always dropping one map and having to play out the entirety of the best of three. Currently the only player in recent form to have an above 1.1 rating is that of TGE who has a rating of 1.15.

Bulldozer's map pool looks like this; Mirage is4-4, Inferno is 1-6, Cache is 1-2, Train is 2-2, Overpass is 0-1, Nuke and Dust 2 have yet to be played.

Map Pick/Ban :

This is a best of one series. Which means that each team will ban three maps and the map left over will be the one played. OpTic will want to ban out Overpass, Cache, and Inferno. Yeah will ban the three maps that Bulldozer have played with some success; Mirage, Inferno, and Cache. Bulldozer will ban out Train Nuke and Dust 2. With all of these bans, Cache is the leftover map and though Yeah has a 50% win rate on Cache, playing sixteen games on Cache is the most recent time is what earns Yeah! the map advantage.

Final Thoughts:

Yeah! has proved to be the better of the two teams and that has been made clear due to this analysis. Therfore, I feel a low-medium bet should be placed on Yeah! to win this best of one game
