Winstrike ranked #54 from Russia are clashing against team Spirit ranked #36 also from Russia in the CIS Minor - IEM Katowice 2019 that has eight teams competing for the prize pool of $50,000 + two spots at Major Main Qualifier and one place at Minor Playoff. This tournament is being played on LAN in Katowice, Poland.

This is best of three type of match, the winner will qualify for Main, and the loser will be eligible for Minor.

Winstrike map performance in the previous three months: Train is at 80,0% win rate on five played maps WIN-LOSE - 4-1, Cache 75,0% on four played maps 3-1, Nuke 66,7% on six played maps 4-2, Dust2 61,5% on 13 played maps 8-5, Mirage 50,0% on six played maps 3-3, and Overpass 50,0% on six played maps 3-3.

Spirit map highlights in the last three months: Mirage is at 90,0% win rate on ten played maps 9-1 WIN-LOSS, Inferno 66,7% on six played maps 4-2, Nuke 62,5% on eight played maps 5-3, Cache 57,1% on seven played maps 4-3, Dust2 50,0% on eight played maps 4-4, and Overpass 50,0% on eight played maps 4-4.

Pistol performance in the last 100 days both on online & offline/LAN events goes to team Winstrike who have 60,0% over team Spirit who has 42,9% total.

Winstrike has played ten maps in January so far and won six, in other words, they played four games and won three. During December they played 24 maps and won 13, converted, they played ten matches and won five. In November they played six maps and won all six, converted, they played three games and won all three.

Spirit played 12 maps in January already and won nine, converted, they played six games and won five. During December they played 16 maps and won 12, in other words, they played six games and won all six. In November they played 16 maps and won seven, converted, they played 11 games and won five. In October they played three maps and won two, converted, three games, and they won two because they were all best of 1.

OK, so we have two teams from the same state, Spirit is a bit more known than Winstrike is, but CS: GO is a fast game, and a lot of young and aspiring talents arise regularly. Winstrike has proven this by topping the Group B with two matches played, two wins, a round difference of +11 and six points. Spirit was also 1st in Group A with two matches played, two wins, a round difference slightly better than Winstrike of +13 and six points. Later on in the Upper Bracket Spirit lost to AVANGAR 0-2 (6-16 on Overpass, and 5-16 on Dust2) while Winstrike barely won against team Gambit 2-1 (16-12 on Cache, 13-16 on Overpass, and 19-16 on Dust2). Later on, Winstrike lost to AVANGAR who previously demolished Spirit with 1-2 (6-16 on Dust2, 16-14 on Train and 7-16 on Mirage). By winning the initial game Winstrike was promoted to Championship bracket, but Spirit was forced to Lower Bracket where they fought against team Gambit and won 2-0 (16-7 on Mirage and 16-13 on Overpass).

AVANGAR is 1st there is no doubt, but the 2nd and 3rd place has a lot to offer. $10,000 difference and Major/Minor spot, so both teams will fight hard. These two teams played one best of 3 game in 2018, and the winner was team Spirit 2-1 (4-16 on Nuke, 16-9 on Cache, and 16-14 on Mirage). I think Spirit will triumph today, their stats look way better than Winstrike, and that loss against AVANGAR was expeted, AVANGAR demolished everyone in this tournament, so we can forget that game. Althought the prizes are too big for Winstirike to let go of this match so easily + the teams Twitter profiles look very hyped for todays game so we can expect over 2,5 maps, but since both teams are from Russia and it is a tough match i will go with +1,5 handicap on Team Spirit.

Good luck to all who bet, and don't forget to gamble responsibly!
