To be honest, VG.J Thunder already started being a tier 2 team since May, however their allocated DPC Points before that helped them get into TI8, they were very strong however VG.J Thunder could be one of the bottom 4 seeds in this TI8 if they still do not get any improvement since their last official match in China Dota 2 Supermajor against Newbee on 6 June.

However I still believe the potential of all TI8 participant, so go for 0.5% or 1% on EG 2-0 is more than enough.

EG is definitely the better team right now as EG actually doing quite good in Dota Summit 9.
