TY vs Snute

It is time for the Global WCS Finals 2017, and as usual, we are probably going to see a lot of Koreans in the top part of the playoff brackets. The first group is no different I think and we are likely to see both Stats and TY get out of this group. However, they still have to face some stiff competition before that and I think Snute might have a shot at grabbing an upset in this first match against TY.

Snute is a very volatile player, with high skill ceiling, but his floor seems to be quite low as well. His TvT maybe not his best, but according to himself it is the one he is most comfortable with. He has shown he can tangle with the best by beating INnoVation (!), Kas, Brat_OK, Kelazhur, aLive, Ryung and so on. Not all of these tournaments were too serious maybe, but still shows he can do it if he needs to pull something out.

He also lost to Optimus recently, just to show what his lows can be, but made it up by beating him later in that tournament.

TY: once the best Terran player in the world at the start of LotV, now "only" one of the top GSL players. He should be able to outplay Snute in this match, but he has shown propensity to lose against apparent weaker opponents, like Scarlett, RagnaroK, etc.

Make no mistake about it: TY is the favorite here, but if he even has a slightly worse day than usual, Snute will find his chance and pounce on it. When the odds is over 3.00, we feel that is quite generous by Pinnacle and will bet on it.
