Space Soldiers vs LDLC

ESL Pro League Season 7 Europe ,

So far so good. We've had a lot of success so far in this ESL Pro Leagues, both for European and North American. Today in this this match we will be looking more towards the European side of the world and dive into another set of teams. This time around we will be looking at Turkish Major Qualifiers Space Soldiers, and the French team LDLC.

Space Soldiers :

Space Soldiers have made a lot of nice adjustments ever since getting to the qualifier stage of the Major, and though they didn't quite get that top eight legendary spot, they did however manage to put up huge numbers and almost upset many larger and more prominent organizations. Beating both Cloud9 and Mousesports. They currently sit 4-0 in the European ESL Pro League after taking down Godsent and Heroic both 2-0, this team has a lot of potential and I feel they are hungry for more trophies to hang on their walls.

Space Soldier's maps are as followed ; Mirage is 9-6, Cobblestone is 6-5, Cache is 7-2, Inferno is 5-4, Train is 3-4, Overpass is 2-2, and Nuke is 0-1

LDLC :

In my tip for yesterday's series between LDLC and Astralis, we could see just how predominately Astralis won that game, even with having a new member of the team and playing on a map that wasn't the greatest for them. I feel as though LDLC does not have the talent or the guidance that is needed for the team to be successful in this Pro League and because of this, will likely fall short of really any other opponent they face. Which is sad to say about what once was a great organization with a lot of famous players we see dominating the Pro scene today.

LDLC's maps are as followed ; Inferno is 4-6, Mirage is 2-6, Cache is 1-3, Overpass is 3-1, Nuke is 0-3, Cobblestone is 1-2, and Train is the perma ban.

Map Pick/Ban :

This is ESL Pro League and that means this is going to be a best of one series in which the map is predetermined. The map of today is going to be Cobblestone. Taking this into consideration, not only is Space Soldiers the likely better of these two teams, LDLC is not fond of playng Cobblestone, as it is the last map pick from them. And on the flipside for Space Soldiers, it is a map they play very often and have had a lot of success on. Space Soldiers take the clear map advantage

Final Thoughts:

The final thoughts on this game are really explained above, but for the sake of those that just read this last paragraph; LDLC is far from skillfully being one of the teams that can actually compete on this level, they just seem to lack every dynamic right now. To go along with that this map will be played on Cobblestone which is both a bad map for LDLC and a great map for Space Soldiers. Looking at this match up, i'm going to go for a moderately heavy bet on Space Soldiers.
