sOs vs SortOf

The GSL 2018 season 1 is getting underway and we again have 3 foreigners trying their hand at the Korean pros. Last year we did not see much of a fight from them, and I don't think we will see them getting much further this time around either, but one can always hope!

For this tip I take a look at the swedish Zerg SortOf who is facing off against the strong Korean Protoss sOs. In my opinion, and probably many others, it was kind of surprising that SortOf was able to qualify in the first place. He is a very good player, but not even among the best in Europe, but he beat a very solid selection of Koreans to get here, finished of with beating the Terran Rookie to finally qualify.

Now he is up against sOs, who has been a top player in Starcraft 2 for many years now, and even got as far as the finals of GSL 2017 Season 3. He is a very strong player and likes to play against Zergs, so this should suit him pretty well.

Although SortOf is pretty good at this match up, sOs should be the better player here - and by far at that. I don't see how he will be able to get out of this group as it is a very tough one, but if he does get out, it will not be through sOs in our opinion.

We go with a straight wager here as we feel SortOf can take a game off here and make it interesting, but in a BO3, sOs should come out ahead waaay more often.
