Seoul Dynasty vs Los Angeles Gladiators

For our third match of the day we have an incredibly interesting match between the Los Angeles Gladiators and the Seoul Dynasty. It's exciting because it's a clash between two teams that are currently very similar in strength, however the Gladiators are on the rise whereas Seoul really struggles to find their identity after weeks of mediocre play. Make no mistake - they're still a force to be reckoned with however the quality of their play is much like a coin toss. Either they come out and perform out of their minds, spearheaded by some solid tank synergy, stellar support play and the one, the only hit-scan maestro Fleta.

Unfortunately for all Seoul fans they never reached their full potential. They failed to reach the playoffs in both Stage 1 and Stage 2. They experiment too often with their starting line-up, the coaching staff outsmarts themselves more often than not and to top it all off their players haven't been playing that well over the last couple of week either. Teams started focusing Fleta more frequently and with Munchkin underperforming (or not performing as a Top 5 Tracer right now) Seoul really doesn't have a second threat. Their Stage 3 start has been rather mediocre and their 3-2 win over a struggling Dallas Fuel doesn't instill confidence either.

The Gladiators on the other hand are looking to get back to their Stage 2 form when they were primed to reach the playoffs. They fell off a bit near the very end (exactly when Philadelphia stepped up) but their potential was evident. They're currently sitting comfortably at fourth with two wins and one loss and with every single member stepping up it's very possible that they will be able to make this an insanely competitive match. They're also incredibly adept at rotating their talented four DPS players - starting off with Surefour who became one of the more frightening Widowmakers in the League, Hydration, Asher and finally Silkthread who saw a lot of game time last week as Sombra. (and did admirably well) They have incredible depth within their roster and some of the best players in other respective roles as well. The only question that remains to be answered is - will they crumble under the pressure or step up? They've done both over the last couple of weeks but it's still a big uncertainty with the Gladiators.

This is a tough one without a doubt. Betting on Seoul would be the more safe pick however after seeing them struggle for the last two weeks it's really, really tempting to side with the Gladiators on this one as we've seen far crazier upsets. The Gladiators have the tools to upset Seoul tonight and if we the stars align and they come out prepared and hungry you could win quite a lot with these odds.
