While at one point Scarlett was certainly considered a top tier foreigner her results in 2017 just have not been that impressive. Despite a relatively weak field at WCS Montreal she couldn't even make it past the quarter finals whereas Neeb went on to win the tournament. Neeb has been on absolute fire in 2017 and is widely considered to be the best non Korean player at the moment. For all of Scarlett's technical prowess her play style is a little unorthodox and while this might throw some players through a loop, when you are going up against a juggernaut like Neeb you need to do something more than just play weird to win.
